Our Fresh Meals program is exactly what it says: meals are cooked and packaged on the day they fly. No frozen inventory standing in for a kitchen — a production schedule built backward from each departure.

Eighty years of the same promise.

Sam and Mrs. Borenstein started carrying kosher meals to New York's airfields when airliners still had propellers. The operation grew; the promise didn't change.

1946

Founded in New York by Sam & Mrs. Borenstein — kosher meals for the first generation of air travelers.

1970

Becomes a subsidiary of El Al Israel Airlines — airline ownership, airline discipline.
